To advertise DVLA Personalised Registrations' attendance at the NEC Motor Show, they asked us to produce a game and competition to provide give-aways on the stand, attracting customers and giving people a hint where the DVLA stand was (and what it looked like) before the show.
We decided to create a radio controlled car game which chases plate parts around a map of the motorshow. The lucky winners won free tickets to the show and the chance to win a real-life version of the radio controlled car in the game.
I jointly came up with the concept, created the 3D visuals and animations, and developed the game with a colleague in Flash and Actionscript. I edited the sound and created the backend processing and database for the competition elements.
